Medical issue could be reason truck driver slams into Huber Heights building

UPDATE @ 1:03 p.m.: A medical issue or condition could be the reason why the driver of a truck slammed into the side of a commercial building in Huber Heights.

The driver, a male in his mid-60s, remains in a hospital, police said. His condition has not been made known.

The building that was struck, identified as the Trimble Distribution Service, remains structurally sound, according a Montgomery County building inspector.

INITIAL REPORT

Police are on the scene of an accident where a truck apparently has slammed into the side of a building in the 5400 block of Kellenburger Road in Huber Heights.

The incident was dispatched about 11:45 a.m. Medics have taken at least one victim to a hospital.

The building is believed to be the Trimble Distribution Service, 5475 Kellenburger Road.
