The six-foot-tall Cheez-It statue was unveiled Friday at Carillon Brewing Company during a live broadcast of The Evening Edge with Todd Hollst on WHIO Radio.
This came after Dayton Mayor Jeffrey Mims declared May 31 “Dayton Made Cheez-It Day” live on Todd’s show Tuesday night.
The proclamation said the Green & Green Company invested, trademarked, and first introduced the “Cheez-It” snack back in 1921.
