Our Storm Center 7 team of meteorologists continues to TRACK this possible winter storm. They have the latest TIMING and impacts today on News Center 7 at 11:00.
A few flurries ending Friday evening leaving us with cold temperatures and some clouds breaking. Lows in the teens, some wind chills in single digits.
A significant winter storm is very likely, late Sunday through Monday.
The storm looks to be trending southward bringing heavier snow with it, according to Storm Center 7 Weather Specialist Nick Dunn.
This also lessens the ice risk for the Miami Valley and lighter snowfall totals for now.
Snow looks to arrive on Sunday afternoon and evening and continue into the overnight.
Accumulations will vary widely from north to south. However, the potential exists for anywhere up to 4 to 6 inches of snow.
The snow is expected to end sometime Monday morning.
We will continue to fine-tune the forecast, but additional accumulations are possible at this time. Highs in the 20s with any lingering snow tapering off by the end of the day.
We will continue to update this story.
