Dense fog in Chicago forced the Federal Aviation Administration to issue the ground stop at both O’Hare and Midway airports this morning, according to CBS Chicago.
By late morning the ground halt at Midway was lifted, followed later by O’Hare.
Several local flights out of the Dayton International Airport, Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport, and Columbus’ John Glenn International Airport were delayed.
Officials advise checking with your airline for flight information before heading to the airport.
