“We understand that too many calamity days can negatively impact student learning. Therefore, we are opting to hold a remote learning day to allow students to remain at home and continue learning through at-home work,” the post read.
All DPS employees are expected to report from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. unless otherwise specified by their supervisor, the post said.
DPS buildings will be open and families can contact the main office if needed.
The remote learning day comes after the district closed for three days last week due to heavy snowfall.
