Brandeberry Winery will be selling a, “Hero in Blue” wine bottle and portions of the proceeds will be used to purchase safety equipment.

This is being done in honor of Deputy Matthew Yates and Deputy Suzanne Hopper, both lost their lives in the line of duty, according to its Facebook page.

They will be donating $4 per bottle to local Clark County Law Enforcement.

Brandeberry Winery will be releasing the bottle Saturday at a, “Hero in Blue” party from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the 5100 block of W. Jackson Road in Enon.

Deputy Yates was killed July 24 after a suspect shot him while he was responding to reports of gunfire at a mobile home park near South Charleston.

Deputy Hopper was killed on January 1, 2011 as she tried to photograph a footprint in the Enon Beach mobile-home park.

Donations will be accepted until October 21.
