He is the second Coldwater coach to pass away in less than two weeks.
Brian Harlamert passed away at the age of 51 on Sept. 21.
Brunswick was a member of the ACME League Hall of Fame and the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
“His Hall of Fame baseball coaching career speaks for itself, but Coach Brunswick was so much more,” Goodwin told NewsCenter 7. “He was an outstanding man to a very special family.”
Doug Mader, Coldwater Superintendent, said the legacy of Mr. Brunswick left is unmeasurable, in a statement on Twitter.
“Thoughts and prayers to the Brunswick family from me personally and from the Coldwater Exempted Village School System,” he said.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
