Comet NEOWISE is a once-in-a-lifetime comet that won’t be visible again for more than six thousand years. Many have seen this comet in the early morning sky so far this month but now it is something that will light up the night.

Be sure to look outside after sunset when it starts to get dark. If you look to the northwest, you should be able to see Comet NEOWISE. To help you out, look for the Big Dipper and it will be close to it and binoculars can help you see it too. The comet is close to the horizon so find a spot that doesn’t have a lot of trees or city lights to block your view.
Over the next several nights, through July 23, the comet is visible starting around 9:40 p.m. and ends around 12:30 a.m. when it drops below the horizon.
