As reported on News Center 7 at 11:00, a male arrived at Miami Valley Hospital just before 4:30 p.m. with a gunshot wound.

He was reportedly shot near the intersection of Rugby Road and Golfview Avenue in Harrison Twp., according to a previous News Center 7 report.

The male sustained non-life-threatening injuries and no one else was hurt.

Bridgitte Gambo lives in that neighborhood and she’s worried about what happened.

“It concerns me because, you know, I live here basically alone, and it’s such a quiet neighborhood,” Gambo said.

Gambo has lived here for four years. She said her community takes neighborhood watch very seriously.

“Close-knit neighborhood, you know, like I said, the guy, he cuts my grass and, you know, his wife, we talk, everybody’s just kind of to their self, but we always look out for each other,” Gambo said.

A spokesperson from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said a 35-year-old woman, a 22-year-old man, and a 37-year-old man were arrested in connection to the shooting.

Gambo said this is all new to her.

“I’ve never experienced anything other than a fire on our street, but no arguing, no anything,” she said.

The fire brought the neighborhood closure together.

“I guess there was a gas leak and the house kind of blew up, or it was really a bad fire. So yeah, it was terrible,” Gambo said.

She said she wanted to know why this shooting happened.

“Of course, I would like to know, you know what was going on and how serious it is, and you know if somebody was shooting, to me that’s serious in your neighborhood,” Gambo said.
