XENIA — The murder trial of a man accused of killing a newborn baby is scheduled to begin Monday, according to court officials.
Kali N. Christon, 23, is charged with murder and felonious assault and could face life in prison if convicted, according to records.

Christon is accused of killing the approximately 6-week-old infant in early March 2018 and was indicted by a grand jury in May of last year.
Approximately 100 prospective jurors have been brought in for the jury selection process.
The trial is expected to continue for the entire week, court officials said.
