Man, 20, accused of raping teen after homecoming

VANDALIA — A 20-year-old indicted for allegedly raping a teen girl at a home following Butler High School’s homecoming in 2017 remained in jail Wednesday afternoon.

Dominik J. Clark was arrested Jan. 31 by Vandalia police after a grand jury indicted him on felony charge of rape.

Clark is accused of raping the girl on Sept. 30, according to a Vandalia police report.

Police were not notified of the alleged rape until March 2018 and the victim didn’t talk to police until June, according to the report.

Clark appeared in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court last week, where a not guilty plea was entered for him and his bond was set at $250,000.

If Clark is able to post bond, he will be required to wear an electronic monitoring device, records show.
