DAYTON — A man accused of running an illegal gambling house has issued a plea.

Sanjay Patel, 44, pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of operating a gambling house via a bill of information, according to court records.
As previously reported by News Center 7, Kettering Police raided an Internet Café on South Dixie Drive in May after a months-long undercover investigation.

Patel issued the guilty plea Wednesday before Montgomery County Common Pleas Court Judge Timothy O’Connell.
He had been charged with felony counts of gambling and operating a gambling house. They were dismissed.
Patel was sentenced to time served.
