Tipp City — A 21-year-old man facing charges in connection to a shooting in Tipp City appeared in court on Monday, according to Miami County Municipal Court records.

Javin Williams, 21, pleaded not guilty to one count of felonious assault, court records show.

His bond has been set at $500,000.
As previously reported by News Center 7, the shooting happened during a party in the 700 block of Comanche Lane after 3 a.m.
Tipp City Police Chief Greg Adkins told News Center 7 that two people were injured in this shooting.
One person was shot in the ear and has non-life-threatening injuries.
The other person was shot in the stomach. Adkins said they were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The preliminary investigation shows that during a party Williams was reportedly handling a firearm and fired it in the house, hitting two people, according to Adkins.
Williams is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 9 at 1 p.m.
