WAYNE COUNTY — A man was arrested in connection to the fatal overdose of a Wayne County man.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation on May 31, 2023, into the death of Jamen Riggs of Cambridge City, Indiana.
His death was determined to be the result of a drug overdose, according to a release from the Sheriff’s office.

As a result of the investigation, 30-year-old Kain Grose of Garrett, Indiana was identified as the person who supplied the narcotics that led to Riggs’ death.
Detectives served an arrest warrant to Grose’s home and he was taken into custody without incident, He was taken to Wayne County Sheriff’s detention center.
He is being charged with Dealing in a Controlled Substance Resulting in Death, a first-degree felony.
