DAYTON — A man was arrested Saturday after reports of shots fired near the Caldwell Apartments, according to a message from the University of Dayton.

Officers responded to a shots fired call and found two people, a woman that is a student and a man that is not, according to the university.

The man was arrested for possession of a weapon while intoxicated, officers say.
The university says no one was injured and there is no threat to campus safety.
