DAYTON — A man has been charged in a deadly shooting near an Arby’s in July.

An arrest warrant was issued for David Brown, 42, on charges of murder, felonious assault, aggravated robbery, and having weapons under disability.

The charges are in connection to a shooting on July 28 in the 2800 block of Salem Avenue, according to an affidavit and statement of facts.
News Center 7 previously reported that Dayton police responded to the shooting and found 33-year-old Morrell Fontenot dead.
We are working to learn what led up to the shooting and if Fontenot and Brown were known to each other.
