DAYTON — A man charged in connection to a stabbing in Dayton pleaded guilty on Tuesday.

Tavion’te Howard, 24, pleaded guilty to one count of having weapons while under disability in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
Howard’s sentencing is scheduled for February 6.

Dayton police were initially called to a reported shooting in the 400 block of Delaware Avenue just after midnight on Oct. 28.
As previously reported on News Center 7, officers found a 32-year-old man who had been stabbed. The department clarified no one was shot.
The man was transported to an area hospital.
Two other men are facing charges in this stabbing.
Nathan Kyle Harber faces two counts of felonious assault and Dae’toine Amontaey Jamar Shells faces one count of discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises.
Harber has a competency hearing scheduled for Jan 16, according to Montgomery County Common Pleas Court records.
Shells is also scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 16.
