Man charged with child enticement after following student to local middle school

DAYTON — A man has been arrested on multiple charges, including criminal child enticement, after following a student to Wogaman Middle School on Wednesday.

Emmanuel T. Warren, 35, is currently in Montgomery County Jail on charges of criminal child enticement, criminal trespassing, and carrying a concealed weapon, per the jail website.

Dayton police responded to the school at 920 McArthur Avenue after receiving a report on the incident in attempt to locate the suspect. The student Warren followed was able to make it to the school, unharmed.

Warren has prior convictions in Montgomery County for two cases of aggravated robbery, robbery, and breaking and entering. The jail website also shows Warren violated his parole.

He is due back in court today.
