DAYTON — A man was injured in a stabbing in Dayton on Thursday.

Police and medics were dispatched to the 1800 block of Emerson Avenue on reports of a stabbing around 3:15 a.m. on Thursday.

When officers got to the scene, they found a 38-year-old man with injuries that he said were the result of an assault at another location, according to a spokesperson for Dayton Police.
The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The case is under investigation by the Dayton Police Department Violent Offender Unit.
