DAYTON — A 47-year-old man was hospitalized after a shooting in Dayton Thursday evening, according to Dayton Police Lieutenant Steve Bauer.
Around 7:10 p.m. on Nov. 23, Dayton officers and medics were called to reports of a shooting at the intersection of South Broadway Street and Gordon Avenue.
The man who was shot drove himself to a local hospital where medics treated his injuries. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries, Bauer said.

Witnesses told police they heard around eight gunshots in the area.
