According to police, Jackson is accused of recklessly abusing the child on Aug. 23 at an apartment on Seminary Avenue.

“Jackson struck (the child) in the face with such force he fell to the floor and was then picked up and slammed back to the ground,” court records read. “The amount of force used to slam (the child) caused him to break his left arm and left tooth.”

Jackson was watching the child while the child’s mom was in the hospital, court records read.

The boy ended up having to get surgery on his arm.
