HARRISON TOWNSHIP — Two people were taken to a local hospital following a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 75.

Multiple crews were dispatched to Interstate 75 northbound near Stop Eight Road at around 1:20 a.m. on reports of a crash with injuries, dispatchers for Montgomery County and the Dayton post of Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) told News Center 7.
Three vehicles crashed on the highway, causing one of the vehicles to flip over and the other to drive into a ditch, OSP dispatch confirmed.
Two people, a male and a female, were injured in the crash, Montgomery County and OSP dispatches informed. The male was transported by Butler Township Medics and the female by Harrison Township Medics to Grandview Hospital.
The male and female reported minor injuries, according to traffic on emergency scanners.
Crews at the scene shut down the interstate beyond Needmore Road at around 1:35 a.m., the Ohio Department of Transportation said. Crews reopened the highway at around 4:25 a.m.
Harrison Township Police led the investigation into the incident.
Huber Heights Fire was also initially called to help with the crash.
