DARKE COUNTY — A medical helicopter was called after a 12-year-old girl fell off the roof of a barn in Darke County Saturday afternoon, according to Gettysburg Rural Fire Department Chief Tom Hill.

Gettysburg fire crews were called to the 9000 block of New Harrison-Bradford Road around 4:15 p.m.

According to Hill, the child was helping with work on the roof, got too close to the edge, and accidentally fell.
Hill said the child was not seriously injured in the incident.
