CareFlight called after tractor flips on man in Shelby County

SHELBY COUNTY — A CareFlight was requested to transport a man to a local hospital after a tractor reportedly rolled onto him Monday afternoon, according to initial emergency dispatch records.

Deputies and medics responded to the 20,000 block of Johnston Road around 2:50 p.m. after getting the report of the incident.

Deputies at the scene said, the man on the tractor was moving a log with a log chain that was hooked to his tractor. They said the weight and leverage of the log overturned the tractor, pinning the man underneath.

No other details are known about the man who was injured.
