Emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash at the intersection of U.S. 40, otherwise known as W. National Road, and Upper Valley Pike just after noon.
A preliminary investigation showed Grisham was driving a Toyota Corolla. She turned left onto U.S. 40 and was hit by a Dodge Ram 1500, driving by Dalton Smith, 29, of Springfield, heading west of U.S. 40.
After being hit, Grisham’s car went off the left side of the road and hit a guardrail.
Grisham was flown to Miami Valley Hospital where she later died.
Smith and his passenger, a 9-year-old girl, were transported to Springfield Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, troopers said.
A seven-year-old passenger of the Corolla was also transported to Springfield Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
