The Miami County Sheriff’s Office has introduced a new K-9 and handler to the community.
K-9 Vello, who is trained in tracking and narcotics detection, and handler Deputy Ryan Thobe recently completed weeks of training and were successfully certified by the state.

Both are currently assigned third shift and are available to any law enforcement agency in the area needing K-9 services.
Vello and Deputy Thobe are also available to offer demonstrations to civic groups and schools. If interested, contact the sheriff’s office to schedule a date and time.
