MIAMI VALLEY — Meijer stores across the Miami Valley are planning to hand out free N95 masks to customers visiting its stores.
The distribution is part of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ free mask program.

Meijer has received about three million masks to distribute to customers across the Midwest.
The N95 masks will be in boxes on a table near the Meijer greeter stand of the grocery entrance. The greeters will be wearing gloves and will place the masks in piles of three for customers to take.
The initiative is the latest by Meijer to address the ongoing pandemic. Meijer pharmacies continue to administer the COVID-19 vaccines, including booster shots, to those who are eligible.
