DAYTON — The Miami Valley saw the first snowfall of the autumn season Saturday morning.

Light snow showers fell mainly on grassy areas and caused mainly wet roads.
News Center 7′s Kayla McDermott spent Saturday riding in StormTracker 7 and said the road temperatures were too warm for the snow showers to stick.
Temperatures across the Miami Valley were in the 60s and 70s for much of the week.

Snow started to falling across the much of the area after 9 a.m.
McDermott says if you are going to driving around today to take it slow on the wet roads and bundle up.
High temperatures are expected to reach the mid to upper 30s today.
