Middletown man arrested after police execute search warrant at residence

MIDDLETOWN — The Middletown Division of Police say they arrested a man after a search warrant was served at his home on Monday.

Antwain McCathron was arrested and charged with having weapons under disability.

Police executed a search warrant at McCathron’s home in the 200 block of N. Leibee Street. During the search, police found five firearms and cash.

Police said that due to McCathron’s “extensive history of drug trafficking and weapons convictions,” the SWAT team was called in to execute the warrant.

McCathron is currently booked in the Middletown City Jail, according to police.
