Logan County man, subject of missing adult alert, safely located

LOGAN COUNTY — UPDATE @ 11:30 a.m.:

Richard Zwayer was safely located on U.S. 33 in Logan County Friday morning, according to the Logan County Sheriff's Office.

A statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert has been issued for a 79-year-old Logan County man.

Richard Zwayer left his home in Zanesfield around 6 p.m. Thursday and hasn’t returned, according to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

Zwayer is described as a white man, 6-feet tall, 190 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He suffers from dementia, Parkinson’s, and is a diabetic, officials said.

Zwayer might be traveling in his vehicle, a silver 2016 Toyota Camry with Ohio license plate GTN 3249.

If you see Zwayer or his vehicle, you’re urged to contact 911 immediately.
