MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County — Three people who fled a crashed vehicle following a pursuit involving a suspect vehicle from the T-Mobile robbery in Miami Twp. may still be on the loose, according to newly filed court documents.
Officers responded to the store on Miamisburg-Centerville Road Tuesday afternoon and a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy heard the police broadcast for the suspect vehicle and spotted it while he was stopped on the shoulder of I-75, records showed.

“He observed a vehicle matching the description go by and began to follow it,” court records read. “The driver then lost control of the vehicle and crashed on Edwin C. Moses at the bottom of the ramp (from I-75).”
Two adults, identified as James Ralph Jackson IV and Tamaurie Kinney, and a 17-year-old were captured, however three others the deputy saw flee the crashed vehicle were not caught, records indicated.
Jackson, Kinney were charged Thursday with aggravated robbery, kidnapping and obstructing official business. Both men are due in court Friday for their arraignments.

The 17-year-old had his initial juvenile court appearance Wednesday for aggravated robbery and was ordered to remain in custody.
Miami Twp. police said four people entered the T-Mobile store with hoods pulled over their heads and some were wearing face coverings, records showed. One of the people involved was carrying a long rifle.
“Two employees of the store were ordered to hand over cash as they were escorted to the office located at the rear of the store,” court records read.
Once in the back of the store, the suspects ordered one of the employees to the ground “and said they would shoot him in the head” if the safe wasn’t opened.

The suspects were able to get out of the business with more than $14,000 worth of products and cash, according to records.
The vehicle the suspects used to flee the business had been stolen from the University of Dayton campus or one of its nearby neighborhoods, records showed.
Items taken from the store were recovered at the crash scene, along with the weapon that was used during the robbery, police said in court records.
