DAYTON — The Montgomery County coroner issued a warning Friday night about Xylazine.
The Miami Valley Regional Crime Lab found Xylazine, also known as Xylaine, mixed with cocaine and fentanyl, and it was found in one suspected overdose death.
“Xylaine, an animal anesthetic, is of concern to all in Montgomery County as it is Narcan resistant. While administration of Narcan is still recommended, 911 should be called for any suspected overdose,” county coroner Dr. Kent Harshbarger stated in a release.
