MONTGOMERY COUNTY — Montgomery County Environmental Services will hold a tire buy back event today.
The event will run from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m on September 18 at the Montgomery County Transfer and Recycling Facility.
The tire buyback is only open to Montgomery County residents and proof of residency is required.

The event incentivizes residents to turn in old, scrap or discarded tires for cash so the county can properly recycle them.
Residents get $2 for every tire, with a maximum of 10 tires.
Truck, farm implements, or other oversized tires will not be accepted.
