Mills was arrested January 18 after being involved in a five-hour long standoff with officers.

The standoff began after officers attempted to arrest Mills on an outstanding warrant and he threatened officers with a shotgun, according to Moraine police Sgt. Andrew Parish. This led to Kettering Regional SWAT being called to the scene on Aloha Drive.

Mills’ outstanding warrant was for misuse of 911 systems. He was accused of placing 911 calls to various communication centers without any kind of apparent emergency.

Mills is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday, February 1 in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
