More than 1,200 students graduate at University of Dayton’s fall commencement

DAYTON — At least 1,200 students got their degrees at the University of Dayton’s fall commencement ceremonies Saturday at the UD Arena.

School President Eric Spina congratulated the students of the graduating class of 2022.

“You did it!” he said. “This day is finally here!”

It was gray and cold day outside the UD Arena, but it was, “bright and shiny inside,” Spina said.

Approximately 1,270 undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degrees were handed out during the commencement exercises.
