WEST CARROLLTON — A man is in the hospital after a motorcycle crash on I-75 South in West Carrollton Tuesday evening.
Around 7:20 p.m. West Carrollton police and fire were called to reports of a motorcycle that had collided with a semi-trailer on I-75 southbound near East Dixie Drive, according to initial reports. The Ohio State Highway Patrol clarified Wednesday that the motorcyclist hit the back of a Chevrolet Silverado.

The motorcyclist, a 23-year-old Dayton man, was taken to Kettering Medical Center. Troopers confirmed Wednesday that he is in stable condition.
The left two lanes were closed for two and a half hours as crews worked to clear the crash.
Troopers confirmed that they were “indications that speed” was one of the contributing factors of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
