2 taken to hospital after crash that left vehicles overturned on I-75 in Vandalia

VANDALIA — UPDATE @ 8:37 a.m.

Two of those involved in the three-car crash on I-75 in Vandalia were taken to a local hospital for minor injuries, officials report.

The third person, whose vehicle ended up on its side, was uninjured.

INITIAL REPORT @ 8:24 a.m.

Ohio State Patrol, fire crews and Vandalia police are all on scene of a three-vehicle crash reported around 7:30 a.m. on southbound I-75 and Northwoods Boulevard.

Our crew on scene reported one vehicle on its top and one on its side.

A vehicle was allegedly making a last minute lane change when it hit another, causing them both to overturn.

Initial reports indicate there were three vehicles involved.

Exit 63 is blocked off while officials work to clear the scene.

WHIO is working to learn the condition of the people involved.
