Coroner called to crash on NB I-75 in Dayton

DAYTON — UPDATE @2:30 a.m.

At least one person is dead after a crash in Dayton late Sunday night.

Dayton Police and medics responded to a crash involving a semi on Northbound Interstate 75 near Main Street around 11:39 p.m.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Officer confirmed to News Center 7 they were called to the scene.

All lanes are back open on I-75 NB near Main Street after being closed for at over two hours.

ODOT cameras showed traffic was being diverted on Third Street from I-75 NB.

The crash remains under investigation.

Multiple medics are responding to a crash involving a semi-truck on Interstate 75 northbound in Montgomery County Sunday night, a Montgomery County dispatch supervisor confirmed.

At approximately 11:39 p.m., Dayton police and medics were called to a crash on I-75 northbound near N Main Street.

The supervisor says at least one person is trapped in a vehicle.

Four to five medics have responded to this crash, the supervisor confirmed.

ODOT cameras show traffic is being diverted on Third Street from I-75 NB.
