WARREN COUNTY — One person is dead and seven others were injured in a crash on I-75 in Warren County Tuesday afternoon.
Ohio State Highway Patrol was called to a crash on I-75 near mile state Route 122 just before 4:50 p.m.
An initial investigation found that the eight vehicles involved were traveling north on I-75 when the crash happened.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.

cars became disabled in the roadway as a result of the crash, another car came to a stop on the right side of the roadway.
An additional commercial vehicle overturned and came to rest on top of the median concrete barrier; disabled in both the I-75 northbound and southbound lanes.
Judy Ashley, 58 of Middletown, was taken to the hospital where she later died from her injuries.
The driver of the commercial vehicle, Mahad Mohamed, Abdi, 53, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Two were taken to the hospital with serious injuries:
- Duane Glass, 60 of Franklin
- Daryl Tuner, 55, of Dayton
Three were taken to the hospital with minor injuries:
- Brent Rhodes, 27, of Middletown and his passenger, Courtney Osterman, 26, of Cincinnati
- Jenny Bowell, 50, of Centerville
The crash remains under investigation by troopers and no charges have been filed at this time.
