Eyewitness reports SUV swipes vehicle, rolls and strikes two other cars near Olive Road and Wolf Creek Pike

TROTWOOD — UPDATE @ 7:53 a.m.:

A witness on the scene reported that a black SUV swiped her car after running a red light, causing it to roll and strike two other cars.

Three people were reportedly transported to a hospital, but all were responsive at the time of the transport.

The intersection of Olive Road and Wolf Creek Pike will be closed briefly as crews clean up the scene.

INITIAL REPORT:

Multiple injuries have been reported in a crash involving as many as three vehicles on Olive Road and Wolf Creek Pike in Trotwood.

Montgomery County Regional Dispatch indicated that at least three vehicles were involved and at least one rolled over in the crash reported around 6:40 a.m.

This is the second serious crash reported in the area Wednesday morning. About 40 minutes prior, just before 6 a.m., a crash shut down all lanes of state Route 49 at Wolf Creek Pike. The Montgomery County Coroner has been requested to that crash scene.

It’s unknown if the crash on Olive Road is a result of the crash on state Route 49.
