The A-10 can carry 16,000 lbs and is armed with a seven-barrel GAU-8/A 30mm Gatling gun.
The museum’s A-10A was flown on Jan. 21, 1991, by Capt. Paul Johnson on an eight-hour rescue support mission during Operation Desert Storm.
If there are long lines, the museum says they will be utilizing time tickets to queue on-site visitor access to the aircraft.
