The National Veterans Awareness Organization will stop Wednesday in Brookville during their annual ride.
As they leave Interstate 70, motorcycle riders will be escorted by the police and fire departments, and will arrive at 4 p.m. at the AMVETS Post 1789 at 715 Market St. in Brookville.

The visit will include a welcoming ceremony by the Brookville High School band and chorus, greetings from post commander John C. Childers, dinner, and talks with representatives from the Montgomery County Veterans Services Commission.
NVAO began their journey in Sacramento, Calif., with stops along the way to visit numerous veterans hospitals, organizations and schools. The ride will end in Washington, D.C., where they’ll participate in ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery to honor military personnel.
