Riverside man indicted on rape, other charges now in custody

RIVERSIDE — A Riverside man indicted by a grand jury on three felony charges is now in custody, according to police.

Warren Wayne Turner, Jr. was indicted Wednesday, August 25 by a Montgomery County grand jury on Rape (Child Victim Under 10), Felony Assault and Endangering Children. Police said the indictment stems from an incident that occurred in Riverside in May of this year.

The police department announced a nationwide warrant for Turner’s arrest on Wednesday and asked for the public’s help finding him.

Police confirmed on Tuesday that Turner turned himself and thanked everyone who provided helpful tips.
