Serious competitive runners led the way at the start line, followed by hundreds of men, women and children walking the three mile plus route that went along riverside drive and out to Helena Street Bridge and then turned back down to to the ballpark.

The Dragons set up giant slides and playhouses for the kids on the plaza after the completion of the race.

The event is an annual community event put on by the ball club.
