New Bremen teen killed in Mercer County crash

MERCER COUNTY — A 17-year-old New Bremen girl was killed in a crash on Ohio route 274 Sunday night.

Zoe A. Lane was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash near Saint John’s Road.

Lane was in a pickup truck that was found around 11:45 p.m. crashed into a power pole.

Deputies determined the pickup was heading east on route 274, when it left the north side of the road and crashed into the pole.

Investigators are still looking into what caused the crash.
