COLUMBUS — New legislation has been introduced to honor Caitlin Preston, an 18-year-old graduate of Kenton Ridge High School killed in a car accident in 2019.

State Representative Brian Lampton (R-Beavercreek) and State Representative Bill Dean (R-Xenia) introduced House Bill 750 to designated a portion of State Route 72 between U.S. 42 and Clifton Road in Greene County as the “Caitlin Renee Preston Memorial Highway.”
“When Rep. Dean and I heard Caitlin’s story, we knew we had to find a way to honor her legacy,” Lampton said. “A memorial highway is a small but special way to celebrate Caitlin’s incredible life.”
She was killed in a car crash on State Route 72 near Cedarville on May 28, 2019.
