Nick Foley cancer update - May 10, 2023

DAYTON — WHIO-TV morning anchor Nick Foley provides the latest on his cancer journey:

I walked into radiology for the last time this week for my tenth and final radiation treatment. The radiation has been for two spots on my spine and my tailbone. I’m very thankful for the staff and nurses who have helped me every step of the way and have encouraged me during recovery.

I also got to sign the radiation board filled with the names who have come before me. I definitely feel honored to follow the same steps as many of these brave survivors who are taking their steps toward recovery.

I still have a long way to go with treatment and at least four more cycles but completing radiation helps me feel like I’m on the right path.
