The battle begins as Nick Foley starts treatment for Multiple Myeloma cancer - April 24, 2023

DAYTON — Day one of treatment for Multiple Myeloma is in the books and so far, so good, with a long way to go.

The plan as of now is to go through five cycles over a five-month stretch with four or five treatment days in each cycle.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but I’d say things went pretty well and the nurses and staff were extremely comforting and encouraging.

Next up, will be two treatments next week and possibly the beginning of a 10-day stretch of radiation.

On to the next with a positive attitude.
