DAYTON — A grand jury declined to indict two Dayton officers who shot an armed man in August.

As News Center 7 previously reported, on Aug. 23 Dayton officers were called to the 900 block of Custer Place after a complaint about someone with a weapon.
Police said when they arrived they found 46-year-old Eric Grady with a gun.

Police said they told Grady to drop the gun and fired moments later after they said he pointed a gun at officers.
Grady was taken to the hospital. then later booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
Earlier this month Grady pleaded guilty to two counts of having weapons while under disability and one count of possession of cocaine, according to court documents.
Grady is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 7.
