Oakwood police need help identifying 2 thieves who stole $12,000 worth of jewelry in break-in

OAKWOOD — Oakwood police are asking for help in identifying two people who broke into the Jaffe Jewelers on Far Hills Avenue and stolen multiple pieces of jewelry.

Officers responded to the store around 2:15 a.m. on Thursday

According to an incident report, the two thieves ran off with a purple pendant and gold necklace with a gold diamond pendant. The items were worth about $12,000.

Police have not said how the thieves got into the building, but store surveillance video captured them committing the crime.
